WHA, Trinity Financial recognized for new Phoenix at Curtis Apartments, with 527 apartments upon project’s completion.

The new Phoenix at Curtis was built for everyone. When the project is complete, it will feature about 50 wheelchair accessible apartments.

Earlier this year, we took members of Your Access Advocates on a tour of one of the new buildings, where they were able to get an up close look at some of the accessible units. Members praised the project for its commitment to detail when creating the accessible units, specifically noting how the project far exceeded the 5 percent requirement for accessible units.

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester Housing Authority CEO Alex Corrales weighed in on the affordable housing crisis and the agency’s efforts to create more housing during a panel discussion Tuesday, June 9 offered by Bisnow at the AC Marriot in downtown Worcester.

Along with Corrales, panelists taking part in session titled “Building & Design Trends for Worcester’s Assets” including representatives from Prince Lobel Tye, LLP; Winn Companies; and Fontaine Bros.
