Lakeside Apartments Demolition Underway in Worcester

WORCESTER, MA – Demolition of the decades-old Lakeside Apartments in Worcester officially began on Monday. Phase one demolition of the apartments at 46 Lakeside Ave. in Worcester’s Columbus Park neighborhood kicked off at 8 a.m. The four-phase plan will replace the buildings, originally built in 1949, with modern, energy-efficient homes, the Worcester Housing Authority said.
