The Worcester Housing Authority manages an internet based tool that enables the public to send anonymous tips and photographs to the Public Safety Department. Tips received through the service will be reviewed and assigned to the appropriate section of the department that deals with the subject of the tip. The tipster can also allow the WHA to respond back to the tipster when the tip is reviewed. It should be noted that citizens should still call Worcester Police Department 911 in the case of an emergency or (508) 799-8806 for non-emergency calls that may require some type of police response. Tips submitted using this new service will not be live monitored.
If you do not have a computer, you can call your anonymous tip to 1-800-782-7463. The people who answer the phone speak both English and Spanish and all calls are anonymous.
Web Based Tip
If you wish to submit an anonymous tip electronically from your PC please visit the WHA Crime Tips website at https://www.wetip.com/submit-anonymous-tip-2/
and follow all instructions on the web page. Tips may be submitted in English, or Spanish. The tip goes through a secure server where the identity of the sender is masked from the investigators receiving the web tip.
