WHA offers basketball activities for youth residing in the Great Brook Valley Neighborhood. Boys and Girls in grades 4 -8 are connected with a team and practice and compete against each other. Some of our youth are selected to participate on a traveling team with the opportunity to compete state wide. The Schedule is listed below. Interested residents may sign-up at the gym during open hours of 3pm- 7:30pm daily and Saturdays from 10am – 2:30pm.
"Kids Club" Boys & Girls Club of Worcester
This program provides after-school programming on site, as well as opportunities for transportation to the main Boys & Girls Club site to participate in boxing and swimming activities. They also have special activities, like Fun Fridays, Dance, Cheer, Board Games, Pool Tournaments and Celebrate the Youth of the Month. There is an annual club membership of $25. Kids Club serves children ages 5 -12 from 2:30pm until 5:30pm Monday through Friday. To register, please go directly to 180 during Club Hours to meet with program staff and complete registration materials and orientation.
